“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”
— Anaïs Nin
I am a licensed psychologist with 13 years of experience in the provision of psychotherapy for individuals, couples and groups, as well as assessment, consultation and supervision. Currently in full-time private practice, I work with individual adults, teens and couples.
I have deep respect for the process of psychotherapy and for each of my clients. If we work together, you can expect me to provide a consistently warm, empathic, direct, and active presence. My primary focus will be on building a strong working relationship with you to help clarify your needs and to find a path toward meeting them.

I specialize in working with individuals who have eating disorders and/or body image issues, substance use disorders, and PTSD.
With your goals in mind, we will collaboratively and flexibly integrate a range of therapeutic interventions, drawing from humanistic, dialectical behavioral, psychodynamic, experiential, emotion-focused, and relational/interpersonal interventions.
I have experience working with culturally diverse clients ranging in age from early adolescence through late adulthood.
I truly enjoy helping clients to develop a more compassionate and loving relationship with their own bodies and selves, make peace with their past, find their voice, and build capacity for rest, play, and joy.
I tend to be compassionate and direct, goal-oriented and patient, relatable and professional, balancing research-based interventions with an organic, creative approach while using humor whenever possible.
