I believe that entering therapy is an act of courage and trust, and I take that trust seriously.

I strive to provide a safe, compassionate, and respectful therapeutic experience.

You’ll find that my therapeutic style is warm, personable, active, and down-to-earth. I draw on a variety of evidence-based therapies to fit your specific goals and needs, including somatic, interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, mind-body, and mindfulness approaches.

I provide individual, couples, and group therapy to adults, and have specialized training and interest in the areas of trauma, secondary trauma, anxiety, grief/loss, infertility, and spirituality.

In addition, I am trained as a generalist, and am experienced in helping individuals with a broad range of concerns, including stress, mood difficulties, identity concerns, career uncertainty, life transitions, and relationship difficulties.

I am deeply committed to providing culturally competent care, and I am passionate about helping clients slow down and connect with the deeper sources of meaning and purpose in their lives.

I work with clients of varying ages, races, cultural backgrounds, spiritual traditions, sexual orientations, gender identities, and socioeconomic statuses.

I earned my PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia and have 15+ years of experience providing mental health services and support to adults, children, and families in the Metro Atlanta area.

I completed my APA-accredited Doctoral Internship in Health Service Psychology at the Georgia Tech Counseling Center. In addition, I completed my MDiv at Emory University and am experienced at integrating spirituality and diverse faith traditions into psychotherapy.
